Alexis / Alexis O傷口保護裝置是專為保護及牽引傷口而設計。和過去傳統金屬撐開器不同，Alexis / Alexis O採用醫療級PE製造，利用其材質的特性結合上下環兩端牽引，使其自然柔順的固定在腹壁上，提供360度環型傷口保護與穩定的傷口支撐，醫師可在傷口最小化的同時取得最佳的手術視野。
Alexis / Alexis O傷口保護裝置的獨特設計可將傷口完整的包覆住，提供傷口周圍力度均勻的支撐，醫師在手術過程中不須再以手輔助拉扯傷口，大幅降低術後傷口疼痛感與傷口感染率。同時，它的包覆效果亦能維持皮膚表面的溼度，防止傷口的血水回流至體內造成沾黏。
